Food and kitchen floors have to survive hot water, grease, acidic cleaners and dropped pans, and health inspectors want a surface with no seams or cracks to trap bacteria. This floor was coated in a solid grey system with a cove at every wall and around the fixed equipment bases, so the whole room is one cleanable surface.
Fixed stainless equipment stayed in place; the floor was prepped and coated around it with the cove carried up each base. The result is a floor that drains to the floor sinks and dries fast after washdown.
