Why choose this system

What you get over a standard coating.

Seamless and sanitary

No grout lines, seams or pores for dirt and bacteria to collect. Mops and scrubbers clean it fast.

Two builds, one look

The standard build covers medium traffic. The 1/8" slurry build adds impact and wear resistance for forklift aisles and heavy carts.

Flat, bright finish

Self-leveling resin hides minor slab imperfections and reflects light for a cleaner, brighter facility.

Custom performance

Add anti-slip texture for wet areas or chemical-resistant topcoats for harsher environments.

How we install it

Prep is what makes a floor last. Every install follows the same process.

  1. Diamond-grind the concrete
  2. Fill cracks and patch damage
  3. Prime the slab
  4. Pour and spread the self-leveling body coat (standard or 1/8" slurry)
  5. Optional topcoat for added chemical resistance or anti-slip texture

Self-Leveling Epoxy Flooring FAQ

Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

What is self-leveling epoxy?

A resinous floor coating poured thick enough to flow out flat on its own, giving a smooth, seamless surface without roller marks.

Standard build or heavy-duty slurry?

Standard works for foot traffic, carts and light forklift use. The 1/8" slurry build is the pick for heavy forklift traffic, impacts and dropped loads.

Can it go over old, uneven concrete?

Yes, after grinding and repairs. Self-leveling resin smooths out minor imperfections, but large slopes or damaged slabs may need an underlayment first.

Can I buy the material and install it myself?

Yes. Empire is a supplier and an installer, so contractors can pick up material at our Corona warehouse or have our crew install it.
