Empire Coating Solutions ("Empire," "we," "us") supplies, installs and teaches concrete coating systems from our warehouse at 284 Dupont Street, Suite B #155, Corona, CA 92879. This policy explains what personal information we collect through socalecs.com, our online store, our training academy, and when you call, email or visit us. It also explains how we use that information and the choices you have.

01Information we collect

Information you give us

• Orders: name, company name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and the products you buy or pick up.
• Estimate requests and contact forms: name, email, phone, project address or city, project details, and any photos you send.
• Training class registration: name, contact details, company, and the class dates you sign up for.
• Equipment rentals: contact details and the information we need to rent equipment, such as an ID check and a deposit at pickup.
• Contractor and credit accounts: business details you provide on a credit application or when you set up contractor pricing.
• Calls, emails and store visits: what you tell us when you call, write or come to the counter.

Payment information

Card and wallet payments (including Apple Pay and other digital wallets) are processed by our e-commerce platform and its payment processors. We do not see or store your full card number on our website.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, our website platform and analytics tools collect standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (city level), and the date and time of your visit. See Cookies & advertising.

02How we use it

• Process, fulfill and ship orders, arrange warehouse pickup, and coordinate drop-shipped orders with our suppliers.
• Prepare estimates and schedule installation work.
• Register you for training classes and send class details.
• Handle returns, store credit, damaged-product claims and customer service.
• Send order confirmations, receipts and other transaction messages.
• Send product news, promotions and class announcements if you have agreed to receive them (you can opt out at any time).
• Understand how our site is used and improve it, and measure our advertising.
• Prevent fraud, protect our business, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

03How we share it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

When we refer an installation job to an independent contractor, we share your project contact details with that contractor only if you ask us to or agree to it.

04Cookies & advertising

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site and shopping cart to work. Others help us understand traffic and measure our ads, for example Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel.

These tools may use cookies to show you our ads on other websites based on your visit to ours. You can:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (some site features may stop working).
• Opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
• Use industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of targeted advertising.

05Reviews & surveys

After an online order, you may be invited to take an optional survey from Google Customer Reviews about your purchase. If you agree, Google receives your email address, order number, country and estimated delivery date so it can send the survey. Google's handling of that information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Reviews you post on Google, Facebook or other public sites are public. Those sites' policies apply to them.

06Emails, texts & calls

• Marketing email: every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. You can also call or email us to be removed.
• Transaction messages: we will still send order, pickup, return and class messages after you unsubscribe from marketing.
• Text messages: we send texts only if you have agreed to receive them. Reply STOP to opt out.
• Phone calls: if you don't want sales calls from us, tell us and we will add you to our do-not-call list.

07How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. That includes keeping order and invoice records as long as tax and accounting rules require, and keeping store credit records until the credit is used. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need.

08Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on our site and checkout, payment processing through established providers, and limited staff access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09California privacy rights

We are based in California and serve customers across Southern California. California residents can ask us to:

• Tell them what personal information we have collected about them, where it came from, and who we shared it with.
• Give them a copy of that information.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete their information, except what we must keep for legal, tax or warranty reasons or to complete an order.
• Opt out of targeted advertising. (We do not sell personal information.)

Shine the Light: we do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.

10Children

Our site, store and training classes are meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11Other websites

Our site links to manufacturer sites, technical data sheets, social media and other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will post a notice on our site.
